China's market for luxury watches is growing as the country continues to grow. In order to meet the ever-growing demand in China for high quality watches, many watchmakers are now creating products specifically targeted at this market. Piaget is the latest Swiss watchmaker to make limited editions with Chinese mythology symbols.
Piaget has made it very clear that they are targeting customers in China, which is why the wristwatches have images of Dragons and Phoenixs,Omega Replica Watches central figures in Chinese mythology. New products will include elaborate decorations such as cloisonne or enamel finishes.
The dial of one of the dazzling timepieces in the Phoenix and Dragon collection will be made from 18-karat white gold and decorated with not less than 78 diamonds. There will only be eight Piaget Altiplano Double Jeu watch models available worldwide. According to photos released, there are still three versions of the Dragon & Phoenix Piaget Altiplano (one with a yellow gold dial and two with a white-gold dial).
The limited edition of eight pieces will be available for the Piaget Emperador XL. The last watch on the list with Chinese mythology symbols is the Phoenix version Piaget Limilight Twice, which will cost over $100,000.
In January, the Dragon & Phoenix collection by Piaget made its debut at Geneva SIHH Fair (Salon International de la Haute Horologerie). These pieces will not only be released in China but also in Europe, North America and Asia. This release will take place in December 2012,Breitling Replica Watches just before the Year of Dragon.
Piaget is also participating in the charity auction of Only Watch this year with its Altiplano Skeleton. Bovet will also be auctioning a watch featuring Dragon & Phoenix symbol (read the review of Bovet Reversed 7-Days Tourbillon "Dragon & Phoenix Only Watch 2011).
